Kriya (Action) Yoga for Spring

What do you hope to see in your Springtime garden in the yard or the garden of your mind?
What clearing of weeds or distractions do you want to pick or kick?
How will you know when you’re ‘In the Flow’ of Spring?
Please be generous and compassionate here – your whole self is growing!

These inquiry questions can get us started on self-reflection. Yes, there is a method to the practice of self-inquiry. And it requires that you show up to the possibility of growth in the present moment. Mind you, the present moment is usually unplanned … You can learn tips on how to show up in practice together.

Practice Kriya (Action) Yoga

  • Tapas (Self-Discipline)
  • Svadhyaya (Self-Study)
  • Ishvara Pranidhana (Surrender)

These three Niyamas (Patanjali’s 8-limb Yoga) form a potent and thoughtful method for getting through life and reducing future suffering, which the yogis say is possible! We practice and look to inner wisdom to perform better outer action. And Ultimately, we practice to surrender to the present moment. Sometimes what appears in the present moment is little yet frequent, and other times it’s a big, unplanned game changer.
